Top 20 International High Schools in China, Top 3 in Shenzhen

Shenzhen International Foundation College (SIFC) was established in 2004. Founded by a team of professors from Shenzhen University led by Professor Fu Tengxiao, then the Executive Vice Dean of the Shenzhen University Teachers College, the school was officially approved by the Shenzhen Municipal Education Bureau and registered with the Provincial Department of Education and the China Scholarship Council as a full-time international school. SIFC is also one of the pioneering international high schools in Shenzhen to implement international university foundation programs along with curricula from the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

From the post-80s, post-90s, post-00s generations to today's post-10s, SIFC has nurtured several generations of students who have gone on to study at top universities around the world, including in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Australia, and beyond. In 2024, SIFC retained its position in the national top 20 in the "Forbes China International School Annual Selection" and maintained its standing as No. 3 in Shenzhen.
