Chinese Culture
In this fast-changing era, nurturing globalized talents is the core goal of future education. Our students will face global competition, and possessing international literacy along with "Chinese characteristics" is key to standing out.
SIFC not only embraces advanced international educational philosophies, such as the essence of American education and the teaching models and experiences from Europe, Japan, and Singapore, but also places special emphasis on the inheritance of Chinese culture. Its unique educational philosophy ensures that students become outstanding global citizens with deep Chinese cultural roots while drawing on the strengths of both Eastern and Western traditions. When our students step onto the international stage, they can serve as "ambassadors of Chinese culture," effectively sharing stories of Chinese civilization and shining brightly with their distinctiveness on the global platform.
Professor Fu Tengxiao is the founder and principalof SIFC, as well as the former vice dean of the Teachers' College at Shenzhen University. He has served as a member of the Ph.D. Dissertation Defense Committee at Peking University, an adjunct professor at Sichuan University, vice president of the Chinese Association for Marxist Literary Theory, and vice president of the Guangdong Pearl River Cultural Studies Association, among other roles.
The Roots of Chinese Culture
Since its inception, SIFC has been deeply rooted in the soil of Chinese culture, thanks to the visionary leadership of Professor Fu Tengxiao. With extensive experience and profound insights in the field of international education, Professor Fu not only established a strong foundation of Chinese culture for SIFC but also demonstrated our deep accumulation and broad influence in the realm of international education. From the very first day of the school's establishment, we have placed great importance on the value of Chinese culture in international education, striving to integrate the essence of Chinese culture with a global perspective.
Teaching practice
In our teaching practice, we have implemented the following specific measures:

Organizing activities for students to practice and display their hard-pen calligraphy skills in traditional Chinese culture, allowing them to present what they have learned in an aesthetically pleasing way and achieving the integration of knowledge and action.
Highlighting elements of Chinese classical culture during the annual "Chinese Cultural Festival." Teachers and students actively participate, making the study of Chinese classical culture a fashionable trend on campus.
