Education is a joint effort between home and school that aims to help children grow and flourish.  In order to further enhance the connection between parents and school, and to create a bond between the school and families, teachers and parents, the SIFC mid-term parent meeting was held on November the 16th. Parents came to the campus to have a better understanding of their children's performance at school.

It is a convention in SIFC that students make an appointment with teachers ahead of time, which is easy for parents to schedule and ensures the efficiency of communication. All the foreign teachers are assisted by a Chinese translator.

After the one-on-one conversation between parents and teachers, SIFC Principal Fu Tengxiao made a speech for the Middle School and High School. Supervisory Principal Mr. Peter Rizzardini and High School Principal Dr. Mark Jacobsen discussed the school life of students from different perspectives. 

The parent teacher meetings were short but fruitful, providing a chance for parents to know more about the performance of the students this half semester as well as understanding more about our school and teachers.
