Rose–Hulman Institute of Technology (abbreviated RHIT), founded in 1874, is a small private college specializing in teaching engineering, mathematics and science in Terre Haute, Indiana.

RHIT has ranked first among the top undergraduate engineering programs for the past 20 years in the 2019 U.S. News and Report’s “America’s Best Colleges”. Each individual program they assessed has also been ranked first since the magazine began publishing individual rankings. Chemical Engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, EE engineering and mechanical engineering are the popular majors, which make RHIT famous for its high academic level, like MIT, Cal Tech and other top universities.

The school's primary focus is undergraduate education. The current student-to-faculty ratio is 12:1. The school currently operates on three academic quarters plus an optional summer session.

About Dannel

Dannel is- industrious, polite, active in student activities, and persistent in writing and art creation. As the head of entertainment department in the Student Union, Dannel showed her potential as being a good leader and contributed great effort in the successful organization of fabulous school events. It's noticed that Dannel was highly responsible for what she was engaging in and she pays attention to the details in every activity. Her serious attitude is not only shown in study, but also in activities, has made her stand out among her peers.

Dannel has showed her great talent in art creation. She learnt the art of video editing by herself and kept improving her skills in this field. After editing, she loved to upload her portfolio in public online platform, which received high click rates online. Besides this, Dannel loves writing, making up stories in unconstrained style. Doing handwork is also Dannel's favorite hobby. She is keen on making eraser carvings and making necklaces. All these activities clearly displays her art talent but more importantly, her passion for life.

In the process of college application, Dannel has set up her clear goal- major in computer science. So during the summer vacation, she was involved in the research on catching people's facial expressions by using computers, which laid down foundation for her in applying for Computer Science. In order to display her personality and talent, Dannel made a personal website to exhibit all of her video editing and hand-made crafts. Dannel's biggest shining point is her excellent combination with her major and her interests.
