Children and parents visited our campus and participated in games that helps them get to know our school better on December the 15th. 

 

 

To help parents gain a better understanding of Shenzhen International Foundation College, we set up an open day on December 15th to invite families to come visit our school and experience students' daily life here. To make it more interesting and meaningful, we also invited the Dajiang drone team to our open day.

 

 

Campus Open Day is an important way for parents and students to get to know the school. We decided to integrate different teams and innovative projects at the same time, because in our eyes, children not only need to talk amongst themselves, but also need to reach out to the community and society, and make friends with the world. Different resources from all walks of life will become an indispensable part offuture education.

 

 

A wonderful journey started with the background musicplayed by our alumni Sam.

 

 

Students and parents communicated with Principal Fu and also learned about the connection between school development and Shenzhen.

 

Dr. Mark Jacobsen , the Principal of the High School, introduced the secondary curriculum and showed what our students' future will look like.

 

Hazel Halligan, as the Principal of our Primary School, introduced the curriculum of the primary school. 

 

 

Our alumni Spiral shared her school life in SIFC. During the tour, the parents asked the alumni we invited to talk about their study experiences at SIFC.

 

 

Admission Office staff led everyone on a tour around the campus to learn more about the school. After the visit, the admission meetings started immediately. The staff from admission office answered a series of questions from parents related to school admission policy, curriculum, and campus life. 

 

The student and parents experienced the K-G5 course together.

 

Compared with listening in class, exploring in a free environment is also essential! During the SIFC Open Day this year, partners from DJ-Innovations also joined us.

 

Children chose either Design Thinking Workshop or Coding Course. Both of these activities let children explore and create.

The drone company Tello of Dajiang Innovation showed its superb skills in the open area of campus. Children on the site watched a wonderful performance and learned the structure and principals in drones.

Children also operated drones by themselves. There were many fun games in the activity so that all of children enjoyed in it.
