Villanova University is a private research university in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania. Named after Saint Thomas of Villanova, the school is the oldest Catholicuniversity in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Founded in 1842 by the Order of Saint Augustine, the university traces its roots to old Saint Augustine's Church, Philadelphia, which the Augustinian friars founded in 1796, and to its parish school, Saint Augustine's Academy, which was established in 1811. U.S. News & World Report ranks Villanova as tied for the 46th best National University in the U.S. for 2018. The university is amember of the Augustinian Secondary Education Association.

In Villanova University, there are more than 10,000 undergraduate, graduate andlaw students in the University's six colleges-the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Villanova School of Business, the College of Engineering, the M.Louise Fitzpatrick College of Nursing, the College of Professional Studies and the Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law. About Thompson

Thompson is a thoughtful student. In terms of academic study, he has been adhering to arigorous and serious attitude and ranked among the top of the whole grade. He has performed outstandingly in science subjects, for example biology as well as in mathematics. In the 2018 Waterloo Mathematical Competition, he ranked among the top 25% internationally.

Outside the classroom, Thompson actively seeks opportunities to improve himself. He spent the entire summer in Grade 10 studying undergraduate level courses at Brown University. In the same year, he also participated in a blood sucking research project. Due to his passion for Chinese medicine, he studied Chinese medicine acupuncture during the 11th Grade and obtained relevant certificates. These experiences not only enriched Thompson's life experience, but also enhanced hisoverall skills.

In the course of his college application,he has always maintained a diligent and pragmatic attitude. He did not follow the trend to choose the most high-ranking colleges, instead he chose thecolleges that suited him the most. Congratulations to Thompson, and we hope that at Villanova University, he can open up a new world for him.
