Our students have done an extraordinary job in the contest! Among all the competitors, our Grade 12 student Cisum Huang, was recognized by American Musicaland Dramatic Academy（AMDA） and awarded the second prize, along with a four-year undergraduate degree in musical theater with a $20,000 scholarship.

The judges of this competition are professional teachers from universities around the world, such as SNOY MUSIC, Rockademy, American Musicaland Dramatic Academy (AMDA). The KPIS Music Challenge Competition is divided into three categories: vocal music, dance and band. The awards includes: KPIS Music Challenge top 3, KPIS Most Popular Team/Personal Award, KPIS Favorite Program Award, KPIS Early Bird Award, Rockademy Special Awards and AMDA scholarships, etc. Secondly, the prizes of the competition totaling approximately RMB 70,000,as well as scholarships and acceptance letters totaling US$170,000 from AMDA Academy.

Rome was not built in a day. Cisum has been working hard all the time. She began to learn the Chinese zither when she was in fifth grade. She passed level 10 when she was in Grade 9 at Shenzhen international Foundation College. In SIFC, she has diversified options from various art courses and clubs. She has taken three years of vocal courses and one year music appreciation course. Four years with the Jukebox choir, four years with the Jukebox A Cappella. She is always enthusiastic and passionate about music. She has been a shining star on the stage.
