On Friday, December 13th, Ms. Lin Tao, Director of the East Asian District of the College Board, came to visit our school and gave a presentation entitled “The role of AP in college applications, SAT preparation guides and official resources”. During the lecture, Ms. Lin Tao shared some updates of the College Board, highlighting the three aspects:
1. PSAT: Students can be clearer about their level of English through taking this test, so as to help them improve SAT scores;
2. AP Classroom: It’s an online resource launched by the College Board and helps AP teachers to better follow up on students’ homework and their progress in learning;
3. Big Future: Students can use Big Future as a tool to search university related information to determine what majors and colleges match them the most;
Thank you Ms. Lin for sharing valuable information to the students. At the end of the lecture, the students raised questions on AP and SAT preparation, and interacted with Ms. Lin. We believe that students benefited a lot from the event!
